The Gusto Group Way: Our Vision and Values
Gusto Group have been doing things differently since the late 1990s. Based in Collingham, Nottinghamshire, we are a group of businesses spanning across the construction, manufacturing and architecture industries.
Each of our businesses are working towards the same vision: building a more sustainable future through partnerships.
With over 170 people employed across the Group, and a transition to Employee Ownership planned for 2027, we're a business that puts our team, our clients and our communities at the centre of everything we do.

Our Values
We have six core values that are the heart of how we operate. These core values guide our decision making, how we treat each other and how we serve the people we work with and the communities we are a part of.
Quality – We prioritise safety and maintain high quality standards in our work.
Innovation – We are committed to sustainability through continuous innovation.
Empowering People – We respect each other, promote a healthy work-life balance and empower our team through employee development.
Enriching Communities – We support our local communities to help them thrive.
Customer Success – We build lasting partnerships that make a positive difference.
Fulfilment – We strive for fulfilment in both our professional and personal life.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
Gusto Construction has been building energy-efficient homes since 1998, when the Millennium Green development in Collingham became one of the first in the UK to feature solar water heating, rainwater harvesting and advanced insulation technologies. At a time where most builders were doing things the traditional way, we were doing things differently. Today, we continue to fulfil the demand for eco-friendly developments and high-performance new homes in Newark and the surrounding areas.
Since then, the Group has grown to include Rototek, our technical rotational moulding company in Newark-on-Trent, who were the first contract rotomoulding specialist in the UK to invest in the Persico SMART Machine, which is an all-electric oven. Then, finally, we have Studio G, our architectural practice in Collingham, with that same commitment to sustainability and community placemaking as Gusto Construction.

B Corp Certification
Gusto Group are proudly B Corp certified. But what is a B Corp? B Corp certification is awarded to businesses that meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, covering how a business treats its workers, community, customers and the environment. To achieve certification, businesses much achieve 80 points across an assessment of over 200 questions, with the median business achieving 50.9
We scored 92.3.
It took over two years to complete the process, and it places us among a small but growing number of B Corps operating in the construction and manufacturing sectors. Recertification happens every three years, which means the commitment to improvement doesn't stop once you've achieved certification.
Our Head of Brand and Purpose, Jasmin Wright, worked hard on our B Corp certification. She said: “it’s a huge achievement to be part of the B Corp community and locally we are getting more involved with other B Corps, who are planning events and dinners to share knowledge, support each other and work together. We are trying to work with more B Corps across the Group where we can, as it’s an easy way to know that our values are aligned.”
Gusto Group became B Corp certified in November 2023
The Gusto Community Fund
Set up in 2020, the Gusto Community Fund donates a portion of Gusto Group’s profits into local charities and community projects. What makes it work is that the nominations come from our own employees and Gusto Homes homeowners. To date, more than £170,000 has been distributed across over 130 organisations.
The Gusto Community Fund donated £500 to Repham Preschool back in 2021
Becoming Employee Owned
By 2027, Gusto Group will be employee owned. All current employees are already growth shareholders as part of the transition to an Employee Ownership Trust, creating a structure that means the people who contribute to the Group's success will share directly in it.
It's a significant step, and one that reflects how seriously we take the idea of empowering the people who make this business what it is.
Our Chairman, Steff Wright said: “Ultimately, we want employees to feel invested in and committed to our collective success and by granting workers the opportunity to become employee owners, we hope to build a stronger sense of unity, motivation and accountability throughout the organisation.”
