Becoming an Employee Ownership Trust is a huge milestone for us. It means Gusto Group is now held in trust for everyone who works here. It protects the values we care about, and makes sure that as the business succeeds, every single person who works here shares in that success.
For me as Chairman and Founder, I believe that businesses should not only measure success by profit, but also by the positive impact they create for their team, communities, and the planet. By transitioning to employee ownership, we are aligning our business strategy with our values. Employee ownership provides a way to step back, while leaving the business in the hands of people we trust.
